Kids, Kids, Kids first of a series

Posted by TheCanvasGrey on June 6, 2007

I had warned my 7-year-old to stop bouncing on our bed.  After about 2 minutes I heard him bouncing again (he was involved in the movie Ice Age).  I walked right in and looked at him.  He didn’t even blink so I “banished” him from the room for not listening and following directions.  After he did some thinking, he came back to me and said, “Mom, I’m sorry, it was a mistake.”  I said that it was and he needed to sharpen his listening skills.  Then he motioned a graph scale and said, “A mistake is in between an accident and doing it on purpose.”
